Is Black Lives Matter a Marxist Organization?

Realty, most of the time, is based upon the sources you choose to get your information from. As a Trump supporter, a Conservative and Republican my reality is influenced by that as well. But in a recent conversation with a friend who hates Trump, loves Obama and votes Democrat I was surprised to learn of their surprise when I referred to Black Lives Matter as a Marxist organization. Honestly, I really didn’t know for sure when I made the statement. I had seen stories and tweets, etc. that indicated this but really didn’t have any hard evidence to support my statement.

So I decided to do a little research to discover if this was a true statement: Is Black Lives Matter a Marxist organization. We’ll see.

According to the “About – Black Lives Matter” page, second paragraph we have this:

“We are a collective of liberators who believe in an inclusive and spacious movement … We also believe that in order to win and bring as many people with us along the way, we must move beyond the narrow nationalism that is all too prevalent in Black communities. We must ensure we are building a movement that brings all of us to the front.” Link:

OK. That sounds a bit Marxist in nature but I’m not sure this would convince someone who has spent the last 10 years watching Rachel Maddow and CNN. Let’s see what more evidence we can find …

The most hard evidence that BLM is a Marxist organization is straight from one of the founder’s words.

“The first thing, I think, is that we actually do have an ideological frame. Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers,” she said, referring to BLM co-founder Alicia Garza.

“We are trained Marxists. We are super-versed on, sort of, ideological theories. And I think that what we really tried to do is build a movement that could be utilized by many, many black folk,” Cullors added in the interview with Jared Ball of The Real News Network.

Here we have admitted “trained Marxist” trying to persuade people to move beyond nationalism.

I’m sold. I’m not sure about you but we’re talking about people who still believe in the Russian Collusion story which has been disproven over and over again.

There is plenty of evidence (looting, vandalism, defunding the police) that this organization is committed to overthrowing our system of government. If any organization or corporation supports them with donations, it would be obvious and clear that that organization is also committed to the destruction of The United States of America even if they’re not aware of the Marxist ideology of Black Lives Matter. And that is an ever growing list.

Personally I have a lot of respect for these women who developed and built this incredible organization of Black Lives Matter. They are intelligent and obviously committed and hard working, successful people. I just disagree with their premise. Of course, not only blacks but all races have achieved never before levels of wealth, good fortune and a great life thanks to the the liberty and fairness that this country has given individuals. Their success and good fortune is evidence of this. America has always strived to be better, to be more fair. Obviously the country isn’t perfect but historically, we’re as good as is it gets and it’s getting better—historically, Marxism does not.
